It’s Hard to Believe

As much as I struggled on the last mile back to camp, with a backpack that weighed almost 70 pounds, a year ago I was walking around with an extra 140 pounds without a backpack. It is hard for me to believe that I used to be walking around, wearing two of my backpacks from yesterday, everywhere I went.

The last five months of 2017 I was gaining 10+ pounds a month. It was a side effect of one of the medications I was taking. I brought this issue to his attention and he dismissed it. I fired him.

He didn’t listen to me or make detailed notes of my visits. I left his care in worse shape then when I started this fiasco. This is only one of the hundreds of screw ups from my medical team. It’s just another reason I feel forced to break the law.
