Confluence Park – Issaquah, WA

I remember when I was a kid and we were lucky if a park had picnic tables. You were really lucky to find one that was covered. You were buying a lotto ticket if it was available.

That being said, here sits a three story covered gazebo thing with 10 empty dry tables. Heck, most of the folks probably dont even know that right behind marigold is a huge park with a $250k covered picnic area and a $500k footbridge. Those are my low estimates and not the real cost.

They are finishing up some construction now. When done, I’ll be back to see the final look.
