overburden
I went and explored part of the canyon that I haven't been to yet. The two really big floods this season buried everything here with new logs and feet of new overburden. There is color, but hasn't been concentrated yet, bummer.

First time I've seen a river make a perfect 90 degree turn. The moss you see is on solid rock that goes very deep into the river.
