I went and explored part of the canyon that I haven't been to yet. The two really big floods this season buried everything here with new logs and feet of new overburden. There is color, but hasn't been concentrated yet, bummer.

First time I've seen a river make a perfect 90 degree turn. The moss you see is on solid rock that goes very deep into the river.

Sorry about the flare. Regulations are tough in these parts. This isn't part of the regulations, just trying to keep the rocks from being slippery. Its good for test pans too. None of my mud from walking around gets in the river either.
